I have been lucky enough to fly this beast as a passenger, and I can honestly say that it is one of the best aircraft to fly. It makes a great city-to-city machine and the power is fantastic. The fact that it is a twin-petal ruddervator of course is an added bonus. You would not be able to do this with the A319, and I am not even sure that you could with the A320. The main problem with the A321 is that it is way too heavy for its capabilities, but it is still a great machine. It was also the first Airbus to have head up flight displays, and it really is a pleasure to fly one.
The A321 is the perfect aircraft to fly with. It is easy to climb, handles well, and is a great passenger aircraft. It is also easier to land and land on the runway. If you are looking for a great aircraft in its class, then this is the one.
Some of the internal paneling has been removed to clear up space for the new Panasonic instrument panel and easier access to the new slipstream table. This is one of the main changes from the A319. The legroom is increased over the A319, but it is not roomy. It is a mixed bag. One of the best things about the A321 is that the cabin was designed for 6 rather than 6 or 7. The entire cabin has been built from the inside out, and the seatbacks fit nicely into the design, and all of the new structural details are great too. The new seat design is a great feature of the new aircraft.
