David E. Talbert has written for several television shows, including Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Enterprise, and Star Trek: Voyager. He has also written an early draft of the screenplay to the movie Independence Day.
David E. Talbert is a veteran actor, having worked in the film industry for more than a decade. He has been acting for longer than that, having appeared in some of the earliest episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine in the late 1980s and the early 1990s. He appeared in more than a dozen movies from the late 1990s through the early 2000s. He has also had a lengthy career in television, having appeared in more than 100 episodes of a dozen shows such as The Sopranos, The Good Wife, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and Star Trek: The Next Generation, and episodes of more than a dozen other shows. He is perhaps best known for his recurring role as Dr. Daniel Jackson on Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis. He made several guest appearances on Babylon 5 and the television shows Person of Interest, Castle, and The Good Wife.
