CHICAGO, Ill. - The Big Ten Network today unveiled the names and faces bringing you the 2022-23 Big Ten basketball season, with more than 350 men's and women's games airing on the network, FOX Sports app and B1G+.
Men's basketball play-by-play responsibilities will be split between Kevin Kugler, Brandon Gaudin, Dave Revsine and Cory Provus, with Jason Ross Jr., Jeff Levering and Lisa Byington appearing throughout the season.
Sloane Martin returns as the lead play-by-play voice for women's basketball, while Mike Hall, Matt Schumacker and Connor Onion will also play feature roles.
Joining BTN this year as a women's basketball analyst is Naz Hillmon, former Michigan All-American, Big Ten Player of the Year and current member of the WNBA's Atlanta Dream. Hillmon will work alongside Winters-Scott, Autumn Johnson, Meghan McKeown and White as featured women's basketball analysts.
Under Jessica Mannetti's leadership, the Sacred Heart University women's basketball team has remained one of the top programs in the Northeast Conference. The Pioneers have made a trio of postseason appearances during her tenure. Most recently, Mannetti guided the team to win the 2023 NEC tournament, the first title in a decade. SHU later went on to clinch its first NCAA tournament victory in program history. Mannetti holds a 146-147 overall record, 107-71 in the league.

Settles spent two years at the helm of the Tigers' basketball team. This past season, the Tigers finished with a 14-13 overall record, finishing the season with a close 80-76 victory over Clarke University. In Settles' two years with the Tigers, the program held a 26-27 record.
\"We are deeply grateful for Coach Settles' two years of service to the college as the men's head basketball coach,\" said IWC Vice President and Dean of Student Life, Linda Buchanan. \"It has been a pleasure having him here with the Tigers and guiding our young men.\"
Awarded since 1981, winners were chosen by the Iowa Newspaper Association at the time that annual all-state selections are made until 2017. Starting with the 2018 season, the honor was awarded by the newly formed Iowa Print Sports Writers Association, who took over all-state selections for the newspaper industry starting with the 2018 high school basketball seasons.[1] Most of the award winners have gone on to play at the highest levels of college basketball, and some have continued play in the National Basketball Association.
The son of former Iowa basketball player Kenyon Murray has accomplished all of this in what will certainly be his first and only season as a starter for Iowa being that Keegan Murray is considered a potential lottery pick in the 2022 NBA draft.
Lute Olson recruited Lester out of Chicago and the soft-spoken Lester was without question the most important recruit that Olson signed at Iowa as Lester would go on to lead the resurgence of Hawkeye basketball in the late 1970s.
Shepard played her club basketball for the All Iowa Attack under Coach Dickson Jensen in 2013-14. She played her first season of high school volleyball for Fremont as a senior in 2014. Shepard carried nearly a 3.90 grade-point average and earned academic all-state and all-conference honors, as well as a spot in the National Honor Society.
Personal The daughter of Mark and Kim Shepard, Jessica was born Sept. 11, 1996, in Fremont, Neb. She has one older brother, Clayton, and four sisters, Taylor, Samantha, Emma and Sarah. Jessica comes from a basketball family. Her older sister, Taylor, and older brother, Clayton, have been college basketball players at Midland University in Fremont.
