I regularly lurk anime forums but I have begun to notice something odd. People are suggesting that one should watch English dubbing with their anime even going as far as complaining when an English track isn't present on a R1 DVD. As a person who for so long has just defaulted to the subtitles this unnerved me a bit as I'm sure you can imagine. Now don't get me wrong if a dub sounds good I wouldn't protest watching it but the concept of willfully watching anime in English is just so alien to me. I guess, my question is or in this instance they are. When did this start? Am I just blind and it'salways been this way or is it a new thing? Is it backlash against years of nerds obsessed with Japan or something that just happened naturally? Am I backward for starting with subtitles without thinking of checking to see if the dub is good?
I know there's been a few threads in the past few months about English dubs and some of the comments are ignorant and make poor arguments against dubs. While it's true that some dubs are bad, it's also true that not all dubs sound bad. I've been dubbing for almost 10 years and I've seen the impact that the selection of voice actors and the dubbing in general can have on a show. I also think it's important to realize that not all dubs are bad either. As long as the translation is clear the language and accent of the voice actor is unimportant. I'd like to know what people think about English dubs and if they've watched them or if they have a particular preference for subs or dubs.
I am running a PC with Windows 7 and Adobe Photoshop CS6. I am wondering how to end the trial period and convert to a full copy of Photoshop CS6. I tried closing down Photoshop, which produced a message telling me to return the disk. I did that, but the same message returned. How can I end this?
Hi Dave,I was able to get my English Indesign CS6 to switch to German. But there is one Problem. The moment I startet Indesign there is the error message that my trial version ends soon altough I bougt a regular Version with correct serial number by an adobe seller. Can anybody help me? 827ec27edc
