Diana arrives in a town to start a new job. She's threatened into working as an exotic dancer. She's later kidnapped and let loose naked in the wilderness as prey for the psycho hunter, like many women before her. Will she survive
i love seeing straight guys praise a film for its female nudity and the nudity is just women stripped naked crying and afraid, being chased for slaughter its not even like sex scenes its literally just a naked woman running through the woods evading a killer. yall need help cuz u men are CLEARLY absolutely not ok! neither is this movie
What in the hell is Joe Mantegna doing in this no budget modern day spin of The Most Dangerous Game Maybe he is friends with the director. Maybe he lost a bet. Maybe he was bored from his day off from Criminal Minds and wanted to watch a naked stripper being hunted down in the desert. The pop ending was a surprise, but not enough to even earn a second star.
This was a pretty decent thriller/survival horror movie. A young woman in a small town in New Mexico forced to work as a stripper, is taken by a local hunter and brought naked into the wilderness in order for him to hunt her down and kill her. This was pretty well made, the writing was basic, but the intensity of the hunt was crafted well. An unexpected gem.
And Starring: Joe Mantegna gets a rather prominent credit at the end of the sequence. Beauty Is Never Tarnished: Despite being fully exposed in the wilderness for a day and a half, the worst Diana has to do is wrap her feet in cloth to protect them from the ground. Bittersweet Ending: Diana manages to kill Colin and return to town, but her ordeal has left her distrustful of everyone, and she escapes into the night. Ten months later, she's back on the prowl killing sex offenders and becomes known as the \"Southwest Slayer\". Creepy Souvenir: Colin keeps a collection of jewelry from the women he kills. In the opener, he takes a bracelet from his most recent victim and later adds it to a collection of many other jewelry pieces. Cruel and Unusual Death: Being hunted down while naked, and then being unceremoniously buried with no one else knowing just what happened to you, is an extremely undignified way to go. Developing Doomed Characters: About the first half hour of the film is focused on Diana as she realizes the debt trap she's fallen into and the lengths she has to go to in order to climb out of it. Subverted in that she survives the events of the film. Fanservice: Even when Diana does find a shirt to cover herself with, after tearing out some cloth for her feet, the shirt is torn in a way that you can still see her body from the side. Faux Affably Evil: Colin Mandel. A polite, model citizen who is also a vile Serial Killer. Full-Frontal Assault: Inverted. Colin kidnaps women and then hunts them through the New Mexico wilderness. He strips them naked to increase their feelings of vulnerability and terror. Gory Discretion Shot: There is only one time a shooting occurs on-screen, and even then it's far away, so you're spared the grisly details. Hunting the Most Dangerous Game: Colin's MO is to hunt women in the countryside like animals. Hand-or-Object Underwear: Diana uses her arms to cover her breasts and groin when she initially wakes up naked and a little while after when she's walking around looking for someone, despite being in the middle of the wilderness and having no one around for miles. Made of Iron: Diana and Colin both take hits that should logically leave them injured; in Diana's case, she takes a hit from a reasonably fast van, and Colin is smashed over the head with a large rock. Both times, they shrug it off with no visible effects. Male Gaze: A lot of focus is given to Diana as she's au naturel in the wilderness, but the most flagrant example of this is during a chase scene where she pauses for a brief moment to look back, giving the audience a view of her bare chest. Mood Whiplash: The film opens with some scenic shots of the New Mexico wilderness... and then a naked woman stumbles into the scene, obviously distressed. Karma Houdini: Jack never receives any comeuppance for his nefarious nightclub scheme. Older Than They Look: Diana and the club owner Jack are stopped by the cops, who believe Diana is a minor. However, she's actually 23. Sacrificial Lamb: The opening scene of the film shows another unnamed victim who is eventually hunted down by Colin, to show the audience how utterly depraved he is. Time Skip: The very last scene of the film takes place ten months later. Two Lines, No Waiting: There is a B plot involving recently reassigned sheriff Dwight Terry and Diana's roommate Rita, who go about town investigating Diana's disappearance. Undressing the Unconscious: Diana has a rather rude awakening once she realizes that she's been dumped in the wilderness with only her necklace. Very Loosely Based on a True Story: The film's plot is inspired by the real-life serial killer Robert Hansen, who used a similar methodology to hunt his victims. What Happened to the Mouse: The fate of the two stoners whose van Diana steals is unknown. Would Hurt a Child: For Colin, he would even kill children if they found out too much about his schemes.
Diana draws several parallels with actual victims of Robert Hansen, including: Cindy Paulson, the only known victim to escape from Hansen's captivity; Sue Luna, who was stripped naked and forced to run through a forest while Hansen hunted her like a wild animal, and was ultimately shot to death; Paula Goulding, who was found shot in the back but with no bullet holes in her clothes, indicating that she was naked when she was killed, and redressed afterwards; and \"Eklutna Annie\", the only Hansen victim who still remains unidentified, whom Hansen claimed was either a prostitute or stripper.
In the intro we see a naked woman out in the fields while a stranger shoots at her. He's hunting her like an animal. The lovely Diana arrives in a small New Mexico border town for a job. Little does she know it's to be a stripper. She has no money and is now indebted to the \"talent agency manager\". She has to share a room with a fellow stripper who's also a prostitute at night and a junkie.Parallel to this story we meet the local law enforcement, the corrupt Sheriff and his hunting buddies, as well as the new deputy who arrived from LA. The local cops are corrupt and the new guy is not quite used to that.Diana's salary as a stripper doesn't really amount to much. Junkie stripper tells her all the ways she can make more money- take off more clothes, interact with patrons, and offer other services. At first Diana isn't interested but she needs the money so she gives it a try. It yields her more money and the night she meets a patron and drives away with him she ends up changing her mind about offering him other services. But he won't have none of it. He ends up kidnapping her.Next, she wakes up out in the desert nude...as prey for our hunter. He gives her a 15 minute head start. He catches up with her but he likes a challenge so he doesn't make it that easy for himself. And Diana, is also a bright girl. She tricks him and escapes from him repeatedly, bloody and bruised. Eventually she gets the upper hand and runs into a family camping, the dad and his two teenage sons, who are stunned to see a mostly naked girl who now is in shock. Dad does the right thing and leaves to get help. But the hunter isn't done yet. Nor is Diana.Naked Fear is an excellent movie for what it is- a well-done B movie with a great story and good acting. Of course seeing the lovely Danielle De Luca run around naked for a good while doesn't hurt a bit. Her performance overall is remarkable, downright award-worthy, given what she has to go through. It obviously suffers from B-movie weaknesses- low budget, not so good acting by secondary characters, an unpolished look indoors, etc. It's a tad bit too long, certain things could have been cut out or shortened. At the same time another victim should have been added, just to make our villain more despicable. The movie succeeds at presenting the hardships of small town life and the risks of trying to make it elsewhere pretty well. And it does so without being condescending and offensive. You do end up empathizing with the main character. The movie is never exploitative but manages to humanize our characters and give the story a lot of meaning. Naked Fear is admirable for the risks the filmmakers took and how they managed to deliver their vision perhaps without compromise.
Naked Fear is a 2007 thriller film directed by Thom Eberhardt and starring Danielle De Luca. The plot revolves around a beautiful dancer who is lured to a strange town and thrown into a deadly game after being kidnapped by a serial killer. Stripped naked, she is forced to run for her life through the vast uninhabited regions of New Mexico while being pursued by a maniac hunter.[1]
Diana wakes up completely naked in a field. She spots an airplane nearby and walks towards it. As she gets closer, she sees Mandle stowing his hunting gear, so she hides behind a tree trunk. Hearing her approach, he tells her that he's giving her a fifteen-minute start. He fires a bolt near her as a warning and she turns and runs into the wilderness.

This was a very decent movie. Danielle definitely deserves high honors for enduring damned near entire movie running around totally naked! ( IN WINTER! ) Although this movie was filled entirely with cliques'. From beginning to end . All about the female victim doing everything imaginable ( what not to do ) when you are on the run from psycho-killers. Got to give thumbs up to the scenic homeland of my birth, New Mexico . Beautiful country! P.S. LOVE THIS CHICK... 59ce067264
